Let the weight of the razor do the work. Pressing down causes irritation, nicks, and razor burn. Light pressure = better results.
02
Wrong Blade Angle
Hold your razor at 30 degrees to the skin — not flat, not steep. The right angle means fewer passes and less irritation.
03
Skipping the Prep
A hot shower or warm towel softens whiskers by 70%. Add a quality shave cream to create a protective barrier. Your skin will thank you.
04
Using a Dull Blade
Change your blade every 5–7 shaves. A dull blade tugs instead of cuts — that's what causes most razor burn. Fresh blade = smooth shave.
05
Going Against the Grain Too Early
Always start WITH the grain on your first pass. Going against the grain right away causes ingrowns and irritation. Save the against-the-grain pass for touch-ups only.
