In 1904, Boston-based inventor King Camp Gillette received a patent for an improved safety razor with a disposable blade. After almost 10 years of work, Gillette succeeded in mass-producing a sharp blade stamped from inexpensive sheet steel.

This started a revolution in shaving as people started being able to shave at home - quickly and with less upkeep of the standard straight razor.

As we have progressed into our modern times, there have been revamps, remakes, and attempts to add to the beloved safety razor.  Power balls, lubricating strips, multiple blades, and cartridges all tried to add to the safety razor.

With incredible accuracy, we now have some incredible tolerances being machined into new safety razor designs.  These new razors are taking basic designs and improving on them with modern technology.  Added to the razors, collaborations with razor blade manufacturers have taken precision razors to another level of accuracy.
